Dr. Broomer’s Magic Soap is a brand of biodegradable and vegetable-based soaps. The brand has many other products like lip and body balms, lotions, liquid and bar soaps. For this project I decided to re-design the packaging for the bar soaps. My goal was to make the package more simple and sophisticated. The target for the new packaging was women from 20 years old and up. The color choices are pastel colors to give the product a more feminine look. The soaps have different scents. I decided to make each scent with a unique color and pattern in the package.
The new Dr. Brommer’s Magic Soap bars give a more simple and elegant look.

Inspired from Mexico and its cuisine I created this new beverage brand called “Santa Lucia.” This new beverage is strawberry lemonade. The bright colors used on the logo and package represent the colorful colors of Mexico. Santa Lucia Limonadas is targeted to a young audience ages 20 +. This product could be on exclusive markets in Mexico. This fun and innovated beverage makes a twist on the usual lemonade beverage. To expand this project I also created the website for Santa Lucia and social media accounts.
Meals on Wheels is a book focused on food trucks in the Austin, TX. area. Austin might be known as the Live Music Capital of the world, but it is also gaining popularity for its growing food truck following. The book has 6 categories like sweets, healthy choices and from the sea. In each category there are 3 of my favorite food trucks. They are all rated and have a short description. I also created an app that can go with the book.

La Michoacana Ice Cream is a Hispanic influenced company that displays freezers in convenient stores and super markets in the United States. I decided to make a new logo and packaging design to give La Michoacana a more simple and modern look. For the new logo I used only the face of “La Indita” and the name of the company. In the package for the individual popsicles only a simple sticker with a vector image of the flavor and name. The new branding and package design gives to La Michoacana a modern look, but still with the Mexican touch.
This project is focused on my hometown Chihuahua, Mexico.
One of the biggest community issue in Chihuahua, Mexico is drinking and driving. Alcoholism in teens and young adults increase day by day. In Mexico 5.7 % of teenagers under 18 years old have problems with alcohol abuse. However, these percentages increase population of between 18 and 29 years old. The alcoholism has become a serious health problem that tends to rise. Chihuahua is 3rd place of car accidents caused by drunk drivers. 4 thousand caused by drunk adolescents. The project was to find a social problem and create something for awareness. "Si tomas, no manejes" (Don't drink and drive) is a small booklet with quotes and facts about drinking and driving.
